So anyway, Friday night we stayed in and had a fondue date night. We debated on chocolate or cheese and in the end went with both! Good call.
Saturday I made some lemonade (don't be too impressed...it was Crystal Light) and added some mint for a wonderfully refreshing summer drink.
Saturday night we made it out to Fandango's for tapas and then to our usual bar for an after dinner drink and dessert. The bartender talked us into a salted caramel bread pudding, though I wouldn't say we needed much convincing. It was heavenly! Whoever decided to put salt on desserts needs a medal!
Sunday afternoon we made homemade vanilla ice cream! Stop by tomorrow for the recipe and instructions.
Um...my stomach literally growled when I saw that vat of fondue. Looks like it was delicious!
